Ingredients

2 Tbsp. butter
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. crushed pineapple
4 slices bread
1 egg
3/4 c. milk
1/8 tsp. salt
Preparation

Melt butter in 9-inch square baking pan.
Into butter stir brown sugar and pineapple (drained of almost all syrup).
Spread this mix evenly over bottom of pan.
Beat egg, milk and salt together until soft.
Layer over pineapple and sugar in pan.
Bake 25 minutes in 400\u00b0 preheated oven or until lightly browned.
Cool 1 minute before inverting on plate.
