Apple Cake With Caramelscotch Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. oil
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. self-rising flour
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 1/2 c. chopped apples
    1/2 c. pecans or walnuts
Preparation
    Combine first four ingredients in mixing bowl.
    Sift together next three ingredients and add to oil mixture.
    Fold in apples and nuts.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 35 to 40 minutes.
