Fresh Tomato Salsa - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 large tomatoes, cored and coarsely chopped
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 garlic clove, minced
    1 Tbsp. minced jalapeno pepper
    1 Tbsp. minced cilantro
    1 Tbsp. Spartan white vinegar
    1/2 tsp. Spartan salt
    1/4 tsp. ground Spartan black pepper
Preparation
    In a blender or food processor, combine tomatoes, onion, garlic, jalapeno pepper, cilantro, vinegar, salt and pepper.
    Blend about 10 seconds or until the tomatoes are finely chopped.
    Taste, adding more minced chili pepper if spicier flavor is desired. Cover and chill at least 1 hour.
    Serve with tacos, tostados or tortilla chips.
    Makes 2 cups.
