Cheese Spins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sifted plain flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1/2 c. grated cheese
Preparation
    Heat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt together.
    Cut shortening into flour mixture; stir in milk.
    Turn out on floured board; knead lightly.
    Roll out into a rectangle. Spread cheese over biscuit dough.
    Roll like a jelly roll.
    Cut into 1-inch slices and place on top of mixture in casserole (Beef-Garden Casserole).
    Bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
    Serves 6.
