Almond Pound Cake - cooking recipe

3 c. plain White Lily flour, sifted 2 times
3 c. sugar
2 sticks real butter
1/2 c. Crisco (solid)
2 Tbsp. vanilla flavoring
1 c. sweet milk
1 tsp. almond flavoring
1 tsp. baking powder
5 eggs
Preparation

Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
Cream butter, Crisco and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time.
Beat in.
Sift flour and baking powder together in separate bowl and set aside.
Start with the flour mixture, adding one cup at a time to the creamed mixture.
Alternate with 1/3 cup milk until all flour and milk has been blended together.
Add flavorings to batter.
Pour into greased and floured pan.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for one hour.
Cool.
