Ice Cream Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. Town House crackers, crushed (2 pkg. out of a box)
    1 stick oleo, melted
    4 tsp. sugar
    2 pkg. instant vanilla pudding
    2 c. milk
    1 qt. vanilla ice cream, softened
    1 (9 oz.) container Cool Whip
Preparation
    Crush crackers.
    Add melted oleo and sugar.
    Mix and save 1/2 cup.
    Pat the rest in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Mix instant pudding and milk.
    Add softened ice cream.
    Mix and pour on crumbs.
    Chill 1/2 hour.
    Spread Cool Whip on top.
    Sprinkle with 1/2 cup crumbs.
