Overnight Chili Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 peck tomatoes
    8 large onions, chopped
    4 hot peppers, chopped
    4 sweet peppers, chopped
    1/2 c. salt
    1 qt. vinegar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. allspice
    3 lb. sugar
Preparation
    Remove skins and chop or grind the tomatoes.
    Add onions and peppers.
    Mix with salt and let stand overnight.
    In morning, drain in colander or cheesecloth for 2 hours.
    Add vinegar, spices and sugar.
    Boil quickly until thick, then pour into jars and seal.
