Sour Cream Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 slices bacon
    12 leeks or 20 green onions
    1/2 c. onions
    1/4 c. flour
    2 c. sour cream
    8 c. bouillon broth
    6 large potatoes, peeled and sliced
    4 eggs, separated
Preparation
    Saute bacon until crisp.
    Add onions and leeks, saute until cooked.
    Add flour and cook until thickened.
    Slowly stir in bouillon.
    Add potatoes.
    Cook until potatoes are still a little hard (about 1 hour).
    Stir frequently.
    Combine sour cream and egg yolks.
    Stir some of the soup into the mixture and then add to soup.
    Makes 4 quarts.
