Cornmeal Pancakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. white corn meal
    1/2 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. buttermilk
    1 Tbsp. melted butter
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Sift corn meal, flour and salt together.
    Add 1 3/4 cups of the milk, butter and eggs.
    Mix well; add soda, dissolved in rest of the milk.
    Bake on a hot lightly greased griddle, turning to brown both sides.
    Makes 6 pancakes.
