Parmesan Dip - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach or turnip greens
1 1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese, divided
1 large onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, chopped
4 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 c. mayonnaise
3 canned or fresh hot peppers (optional), chopped
salt
freshly ground black pepper
1 tsp. paprika
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Defrost and squeeze dry the spinach or greens.
Mix together 1 cup of the Parmesan cheese, the chopped spinach or turnip greens, onion, garlic, cream cheese and mayonnaise.
Chop the optional red pepper and add to the mixture. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Place in a greased casserole dish, top with the remaining Parmesan cheese and sprinkle with paprika.
Bake until hot and bubbly.
Freezes well, both before and after baking.
Serve with crackers.
Holds well in a chafing dish.
Makes 4 cups.
