Apple Crumble - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. cooking apples
1/3 c. water
3/4 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. grated lemon rind
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Peel, core and slice the apples.
Combine the water, sugar and lemon rind in a saucepan.
Add the apple slices and cook, covered, until soft.
Put into a well-buttered pie tin.
