Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c shortening
2 c sugar
3 c flour
2 c unsweet dried apples (cooked)
3 tsp soda dissolved in 1/2 cup hot water
1 c raisins
1 c pecans
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg

Preparation

Mix all ingredients well and bake at 225\u00b0 for 2 hours and 45 minutes.
