Nut And Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter
    2 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    4 c. plain flour
    1/2 lb. candied cherries
    1/2 lb. candied pineapple
    2 c. pecans or mixed nuts, chopped
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. raisins
Preparation
    Mix eggs, sugar and butter well.
    Add flour and vanilla.
    Mix well.
    Stir in fruit and nuts.
    Bake at 250\u00b0 for 3 hours.
