Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. frozen hash brown potatoes
    1/2 c. butter
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Mix together all ingredients.
    Place in a greased 9 x 12-inch pan (I use a large casserole dish).
    Before baking, put on Topping.
