Pecan Crispies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine or butter
    1/2 c. Crisco
    2 1/2 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Mix together the flour, sugar, salt and soda.
    Melt margarine and Crisco; pour into dry ingredients.
    Add eggs and mix well. Add pecans (finely chopped) and mix with hands.
    Pinch off small portions (or use spoon).
    Roll into ball the size of large marbles and put on cookie sheet about 2 inches apart.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Yields 5 dozen.
