Sweet And Sour Cabbage Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 or 3 soup bones
1 head cabbage, shredded
1 1/2 qt. water
1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
2 onions, sliced thin
1 apple, peeled and diced
1/4 c. seedless raisins
1/4 c. lemon juice
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation

Put the soup bones in a heavy saucepan.
Add the shredded cabbage and water.
Add the tomatoes, onions, apple and raisins. Add the lemon juice, brown sugar, salt and pepper.
Stir.
Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
