Caramel Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. milk
    1/2 stick butter
    1/4 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Brown 1/4 cup sugar separately, while bringing remaining mixture to a boil.
    Let boil approximately 8 minutes before adding browned sugar mixture.
    Beat by hand or mixer until desired consistency.
