Sausage-Bean Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen lima beans
3 (about 19 oz. each) cans baked beans (6 c.)
3 (about 15 oz. each) cans kidney beans, drained (5 c.)
1 lb. Italian link sausage or pork link sausages
1/2 lb. smoked ham, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 c. catsup
1/4 c. brown sugar, packed
1 Tbsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
Preparation

Cook lima beans as directed on package; drain.
Turn into ungreased 4 1/2-quart casserole.
Add baked beans and kidney beans.
In covered skillet, simmer sausage in small amount of water for 5 minutes.
Drain liquid from skillet.
Panfry sausage until brown on all sides.
Cut each sausage into 2 or 3 pieces. Add with ham to beans.
Stir together remaining ingredients and pour over casserole.
Gently mix all ingredients.
Bake, uncovered, for 1 hour.
Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
