Apricot Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large pkg. apricot jello
    1 large can crushed pineapple with juice
    2 c. buttermilk
    1 (8 oz.) carton Cool Whip
    1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Combine jello and crushed pineapple in a saucepan and heat until jello is dissolved.
    Cool.
    Combine buttermilk and Cool Whip with jello mixture.
    Refrigerate.
