Asparagus Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 or 2 cans asparagus
    1 c. grated cheese
    1/4 c. butter
    crackers, crumbled
    nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Melt in saucepan 2 tablespoons butter.
    Blend in 2 tablespoons flour.
    Slowly add 1 1/2 cups milk and asparagus liquid.
    When sauce boils, reduce heat and add 1 cup grated cheese.
    Cook until melted.
    In saucepan, melt 1/4 butter.
    Add cracker crumbs and brown them.
    Add nuts.
    In casserole dish, place drained asparagus.
    Pour sauce over asparagus.
    Sprinkle browned crumbs and nut mixture over the top.
    Bake 20 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
