Fresh Apple Loaf - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
3 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
3 c. chopped apples
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Cream sugar, shortening and eggs.
Sift flour, measure and sift with baking powder, soda and salt.
Add to creamed mixture with apples and nuts.
Stir to stiff batter.
Turn into greased loaf pan.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for about 1 hour.
