Rolled Oat Stoakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. rolled oats
1/2 c. cooked rice
1 large onion, chopped and sauteed
1/2 c. toasted bread crumbs
1/2 tsp. sage
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs or the equivalent amount egg replacer
Preparation

Mix all ingredients and, if too dry, add water to form patties. Brown lightly in oil.
Drop into boiling broth.
