Grandma'S Toffee Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. butter or margarine
1 c. brown sugar
2 c. flour
1 egg yolk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (8 oz.) bar milk chocolate
1 c. chopped nuts

Preparation

Cream butter and sugar until light.
Add egg yolk, vanilla and flour.
Spread thinly on 10 x 15-inch cookie sheet and bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
Place broken chocolate on warm cookie and spread when soft.
Sprinkle with nuts and cut into squares while still warm.
Easy and delicious!
