Russian Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter or oleo
    1 c. confectioners sugar
    4 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    2 c. ground walnuts
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Sift flour and salt; measure and add to butter mixture.
    Add vanilla and nuts.
    Form into crescents about the size of your middle finger or smaller.
    Bake 17 to 20 minutes in a 325\u00b0 oven.
    When hot, roll in confectioners sugar and after cool, roll in sugar again.
