Chicken Cacciatore - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. salad oil
    1 cut up chicken or 6 chicken breasts
    1 medium onion, sliced thick
    1 large pepper, cut into 1/4-inch strips
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 large can whole tomatoes
    8 oz. tomato sauce
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. ground allspice
    1 bay leaf
    1/4 tsp. leaf thyme
    dash of cayenne
Preparation
    Heat oil in large skillet.
    Shake chicken in flour and fry until golden brown.
    Place chicken to one side and add onions, green pepper and garlic; brown lightly.
    Combine tomatoes, etc. Add to chicken and simmer 30 to 40 minutes or until tender (covered).
    Serve with noodles.
