Baked Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. Great Northern beans
1 piece salt pork
1 c. sugar per lb. of beans
Preparation

Soak beans overnight in water; drain and rinse.
Pour water on beans until just covered.
Add salt pork.
Bring to a boil and then let simmer until beans are tender.
Add sugar and bake in oven at 350\u00b0 until they start to thicken, about an hour; or, you can cook in crock-pot all day.
Add sugar about half way through the day.
