Baked Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. Northern beans
    4 to 6 pork chops
    1/2 lb. slab bacon
    1 (14 oz.) bottle ketchup
    1 c. King syrup
    1 large onion, diced
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Soak beans overnight.
    Then cook with diced onion until soft with beans barely covered with water.
    Do not drain.
    Mix with ketchup, syrup, salt and pepper and put into a casserole dish. Fry chops until pink and slightly brown.
    Push these to the bottom of the casserole dish and place bacon strips on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
