Raisin Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. seedless raisins
2 c. water
1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. vinegar
1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Boil raisins in 1 3/4 cups water 5 minutes.
Combine sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon and salt.
Moisten with remaining 1/4 cup cold water and add to raisins.
Stir until mixture boils.
Remove from fire and add butter and vinegar.
Pour into pie shell.
Cover top with pastry.
Bake in hot oven at 425\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
