Monte Cristo Sandwich - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    1/3 c. milk
    12 slices bread
    Swiss cheese slices
    6 boiled ham slices
    margarine
    confectioners sugar
    red currant jelly
Preparation
    Combine eggs and milk.
    For each sandwich, cover slice of bread with cheese, ham and second slice of cheese.
    Top with bread.
    Dip sandwich in egg mixture.
    Brown in skillet on both sides
    in margarine.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Sprinkle with sugar.
    Serve with jelly.
    Makes 6 sandwiches.
