Ingredients

2 eggs, separated
3 Tbsp. flour
1 c. sugar
1 c. milk
juice of 2 lemons
rind of 1 lemon, grated
4 Tbsp. melted butter
Preparation

Beat egg whites and set aside. Sift flour and sugar into beaten egg yolks. Add milk, lemon juice, rind and melted butter. Fold in egg whites until smooth. Pour into a buttered 1-quart baking dish. Set in a shallow pan of water. Bake at 350\u00b0 until firm and golden brown on top, about 35 to 40 minutes.
