Candy Strawberries - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. wild strawberry gelatin
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. flaked coconut
    1 c. ground pecans (optional)
    3/4 c. condensed milk
    red decorator's sugar
    green food coloring
    blanched almonds, sliced
Preparation
    Combine gelatin, pecans and coconut.
    Stir in milk and vanilla.
    Mix well.
    Chill for 1 hour.
    Shape into strawberries. Roll in red decorator's sugar.
    Tint almond slices with green food coloring.
    Insert in tops of candy.
