Dill Pot Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 lb. beef pot roast
    1/4 c. flour
    3 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    3 Tbsp. oil
    1 medium onion, sliced
    1 tsp. dill weed
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. coarsely grated carrots
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Combine 1/4 cup flour with salt and pepper.
    Dredge roast in flour.
    Brown in oil on stove in frying pan.
    Place in roaster. Add onions, dill weed, vinegar and 1/2 cup water.
    Cover; cook slowly for 2 hours.
    Add carrots and cook 1 hour.
    Remove meat to heated platter.
    Pour liquid from roaster.
    Mix 2 tablespoons flour and 1/2 cup water.
    Add to cooking liquid, stirring constantly.
