Cheddar Ha' Pennies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1/2 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
    1 c. flour, sifted
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. dry onion soup mix, finely crushed
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Shape into rolls about one-inch in diameter.
    Wrap in foil and freeze.
    When ready to bake, slice crosswise 1/8-inch thick.
    Bake in moderate oven, 375\u00b0, about 10 minutes or until golden brown.
    Serve hot.
    Makes 6 1/2 dozen.
