Scalloped Potatoes With Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 pork chops
    1 Tbsp. fat
    5 c. peeled, sliced, raw potatoes
    6 slices American cheese
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. chopped green onions
    1 can cream of celery or cream of chicken soup
    1 1/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Brown chops on one side in hot fat.
    Place half of potatoes in greased 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Top with cheese slices.
    Add remaining potatoes.
    Place pork chops, browned side up, on potatoes. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    Cook onions in drippings until tender.
    Add soup and milk.
    Heat and pour over pork chops.
    Cover with foil on a baking sheet and bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour. Remove cover and continue baking for 30 minutes.
