Coconut-Black Walnut Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
4 eggs, well beaten
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 c. Wesson oil
3 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. coconut
2 tsp. coconut flavoring
Preparation

Combine sugar, oil and eggs. Beat well. Combine dry ingredients. Add to sugar mixture alternating with buttermilk and beating well after each addition. Stir in nuts, flavoring and coconut. Pour into well-greased and floured pan. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 5 minutes.
Pour hot Coconut Syrup over hot cake.
Let set 4 hours. Wrap well.
