Grandma Merritt'S Sweet Potato Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. Crisco
    3 medium-large sweet potatoes
    3 scant c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    7 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Boil potatoes until they are done or a fork pierces them easily.
    Pour cold water over potatoes and remove skin.
    Cream potatoes in Crisco.
    Add flour, salt and baking powder.
    Mix well with fingers.
    If too sticky, add more flour.
    Work it up like you would biscuits.
    Roll out.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 until brown.
    Do not place on lowest rack of oven.
