Cheese Ball - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 (8 oz.) pkg. soft cream cheese
    1/2 bell pepper, chopped
    2 green onions, chopped fine
    1 c. chopped fine pecans
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1 small jar chopped dried beef
    dash of garlic
    shredded Cheddar (optional)
Preparation
    Heat cream cheese until it is mixable.
    Add remaining ingredients except 1/2 cup of pecans.
    Make into a ball.
    Roll in pecans and chill overnight.
