Scalloped Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. tomatoes (fresh or canned)
    1 medium cucumber, pared and sliced
    1 small onion, sliced
    1/2 c. buttered bread crumbs
    1/2 c. grated cheese
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Put into greased casserole dish.
    Place layer of tomatoes, half of cucumbers and crumbs.
    Repeat.
    Top with tomatoes and sprinkle with cheese.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
