1 pkg. (1/4 oz.) active dry yeast
    1/3 c. plus 1 tsp. sugar, divided
    1 1/2 c. warm water (110 to 115 degrees), divided
1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted
    2 eggs
1/4 c. instant nonfat dry milk powder
    1 1/4 tsp. salt

In a mixing bowl, dissolve yeast and 1 teaspoon sugar in 1/2 cup water.
Add butter, eggs, milk powder, salt, 3 cups flour and remaining sugar and water.
