Mustard Pickle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. small cukes
    1 pt. sliced cukes (small)
    1 pt. pickling onions
    1 pt. cauliflower (more is okay)
    1 c. small green beans
    3 sweet green peppers
    3 sweet red peppers
    4 Tbsp. butter or oil
    1/2 c. flour
    1 to 2 c. brown sugar
    3 Tbsp. ground mustard
    1 Tbsp. turmeric
    1 Tbsp. horseradish
    5 c. apple cider vinegar
    1 c. water
    3 c. vinegar and water (for soaking overnight) *
Preparation
    *Or in fresh brine made by dissolving 2 cups salt and 1 gallon cold water.
