Corn And Onion Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tsp. dill weed
    1 large onion, minced
    1/2 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. corn muffin mix
    1 c. cream-style corn
    1 c. sour cream
    1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 egg, beaten
    1/3 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of Tabasco
Preparation
    Saute onion in butter until soft.
    Add sour cream.
    Set aside. Combine dill, muffin mix, beaten egg, Tabasco, milk and salt. Pour this mixture into a greased and floured 9 x 9-inch pan. Sprinkle 3/4 cup grated cheese on top.
    Add onion and sour cream mixture and top with remaining grated cheese.
    Bake for 35 minutes at 425\u00b0.
    Cool slightly and cut into 9 squares.
    Freezes well. Can be served with entree or as an appetizer.
