Icebox Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
3 c. oatmeal
1 tsp. salt
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. walnuts

Preparation

Cream shortening and brown sugar.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Add flour, baking soda and salt.
Add oatmeal and walnuts.
Mix well. Form into rolls.
Wrap in wax paper.
Chill cookie mix.
Slice and bake at 350\u00b0.
