Beef Or Chicken Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. beef broth or chicken broth
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. water
    1/2 tsp. dry thyme
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Bring the broth to a boil in a medium saucepan.
    Boil until reduced by one third volume or approximately for 10 minutes.
    In a small bowl combine cornstarch and water.
    Gradually add to the hot broth, stirring constantly.
    Cook over low heat, stir constantly for 5 minutes or until thickened.
    Add the thyme or pepper.
    Stir to mix.
