Peach Pickle 1 - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. peaches
    1 Tbsp. whole cloves
    2 qt. water
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    4 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. whole ginger
    2 (3-inch) sticks cinnamon
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over peaches.
    Let stand until skins slip off easily when dipped into cold water.
    Peel.
    Stick a whole clove into each peach.
    Pour on 2 quarts water with the 2 tablespoons of vinegar added.
