Russian Tea Cakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. confectioner sugar, sifted
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. flour, sifted
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. nuts, finely chopped
Preparation

Mix thoroughly, butter, sugar and vanilla. Sift together flour and salt and stir in, then mix nuts, mix well. Chill dough. Roll into 1in balls. Place 2 1/2 in. apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 400 degrees until set, but not brown, (10-12 min.).
