Vegetable Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hamburger
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. onion
    1 c. carrots
    2 c. sliced raw potatoes
    1/2 c. uncooked rice
    1/2 c. sliced green pepper
    2 c. tomatoes
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 c. hot water
Preparation
    Brown hamburger in butter.
    Put layer of meat in 2-quart casserole.
    Top with a layer of each vegetable and rice.
    Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    Pour hot water over all ingredients.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 2 hours.
