Beef Log - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. ground chuck or 1 1/2 lb. beef, lamb or elk
    1 c. water
    1 tsp. liquid smoke
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar, packed
    1/2 tsp. garlic salt or powder
    2 Tbsp. Morton Tender Quick salt
    2 Tbsp. mustard seed
    1 1/2 Tbsp. cracked black pepper
Preparation
    Mix spices with water.
    Add to beef.
    Refrigerate overnight. Form rolls in wax paper and lift into the broiler pan that is sprayed with Pam.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour and 45 minutes.
    Turn over about halfway through cooking if desired (in lower it will be done in one hour).
    Cool and wrap in foil.
    Keep in refrigerator.
