Jiffy Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. oleo
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1 c. milk
    1 qt. sweetened fruit
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Melt oleo in shallow baking dish (9 x 12-inch).
    Make a thin batter of remaining ingredients except fruit and pour over oleo. Pour fruit on top of batter.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
    Makes 8 to 10 servings.
