Vidalia Onion Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 5 Vidalia or sweet onions
    1/4 cup butter or margarine
    1/4 cup sour cream
    3/4 cups grated parmesan cheese
    10 butter flavored crackers, crushed
Preparation
    Slice
    onions 1/4 inch thick.
    In a skillet over medium heat, saute onions in butter until tender.
    Remove from the heat; stir in sour cream.
    spoon half into a greased 1 qt. baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese.
    Top with remaining onion mixture and crackers.
    Bake uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 20 - 25 minutes.
    Yields 4 - 6 servings.
