Meatballs With Onions(Dawood Basha) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. (1/2 kg) meat
    1 lb. (1/2 kg) small onions
    2 c. butter or Crisco
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. each: pepper and cinnamon
    2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. flour
    juice of 1 lemon
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper and cinnamon for broth
    3 garlic cloves
    1/2 tsp. dried mint
Preparation
    Put meat through a meat grinder twice.
    Season the ground meat and knead it with your hands.
    Shape into one-inch balls and set aside.
    Brown the meatballs in oil.
    Drain and set aside.
    Peel the onions and saute in the remaining oil until golden.
    Drain. Place the meatballs and onions in a saucepan with the water, seasoning and lemon juice.
    Bring to the boil.
    Reduce heat and cook for 5 minutes.
    Brown the flour in half a cup of water, stirring constantly.
    Add the dissolved flour to the meat.
    Crush the garlic with the dried mint and add to the meat a few minutes before serving.
    Serve hot with boiled rice.
